Announcement:
As people go to church on sunday mornings and the buddhists to the temples on vesak day, I'm organising an outing for ALL interested Photography Club members (when I say "all", I mean both J1s, J2s, teachers are welcomed) on the 18th May, Sunday afternoon 2pm - 7pm (day before Vesak Day holiday).
If you're interested in Singapore's abandoned buildings, this is definitely the catch for you. Going Changi area mainly Old Changi Hospital, Changi Village and Changi beach. Equipment wise you can bring anything from your PnS to DSLR/SLR, tripod, filters (if you have any), and of course for the SLR users- LENSES. Wide for the landscapes, zoom for the birds and primes for the people.
If you happen to have an old film camera at home that belonged to your dad or mom and not too sure how to use it but super interested to learn how, you may also bring it along. Just check with your parents whether it's still in perfect working condition, and I'll teach you how to use it. (Please bring your own film.)
You will be notified through email, about more details regarding this trip. You are kindly required to reply.
Silent readers, it's time to speak up now. If you have any suggestions or questions regarding this trip, or you are interested but damn scared of ghosts, (I can assure you that there's none except for blood-like splatters) please post them on the tag board.
Your participation and enthusiasm will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Today Colosseum I was happily shooting shooting with my cousin's 5D then suddenly when I looked into the viewfinder, it was pitch dark. NOTHING. i panicked... "how how how???" *GASP* but PPC v cool, used his little pinkie kick it back then ask me to screw back lens and send for servicing.
i told G and she *JAW DROP* and asked, "what were you all doing man? use until so ji lie?"

Seriously.
If you dont feel like coming to help out in cutting/typing the photos for mugshots or you think that we are making use of you as free labour, please dont come.
I really dont understand whats so diffcult about coming for ONE pathetic hour to cut photos and start complaining. The whole EXCO has to stay back EVERYDAY TILL 8PM to do all our assigned tasks. Fine you can say cause we are in the exco. But as a member i think it is not very diffcult to stay back a while after school DURING YOUR CCA TIME to cut photos, something the WHOLE club is involved in. We settle the printing, the cutter, the arrangement of classes, the folders to put the photos, the labels, the namelist and all you have to do is cut.
Now tell me why do some of you still have to complain.
To the majority of the enthu J1s and J2s, thanks for staying back and helping to cut/type the photos especially angeline, elliot, zheng hui, shirleen, vanessa and all those who i cant rmbr who you are cause im too busy for staying back almost everyday to help cut photos! thanks!
