CIP!

There are two CIP events coming up!


Event 1: Give a Hand! (GAH!) campaign which takes place over 3 weekends in March 09. GAH! campaign, initiated in 2003, is a Community Chest signature event that aims to showcase the talents their beneficiaries as well as to engage the public in caring and sharing for the less fortunate in our society.

Some of the activities that are lined up would be:

Games and any other activities on stage
Off-stage games, e.g. spin-the-wheel, lucky dips, instant wins, etc.
Fringe activities, e.g. balloon sculpting, juggling, stilt-walking, etc.
Performances by voluntary welfare organisations and community groups
Activities involving celebrities, e.g. performances, skits, photo-taking, etc.
Celebrities appearances
Appearances and walkabouts by Sharity Elephant
Radio vanshows
Display of public education panels

The dates and the venue for the campaign is as follow:
Dates and Venue:
6 and 8 March 2009 at Tiong Bahru Mall
14 and 15 March 2009 at Toa Payoh Hub (To be confirmed)
20-22 March 2009 at Jurong Point Extension

Event 2: J.P Morgan Kiddoletics @ the Park! 2009. An initiative under the Singapore Disability Sports Council.

Date: 28 February 2009, Saturday
time: 8.00am to 1.30pm
Venue: East Coast Park- OBS Campus
Photographers are tasked to capture moments of the children and volunteers in action.
Max Recruitment: 10

Some of you have already shown your interest in some of the dates above. For those who haven't there is still time. Pls tell me during club meeting on Wednesday. All strongly encouraged to sign up for at least one event.
