Please note that you have to write some captions for your entries as it is a body of art. You may talk about your inspiration, thoughts, etc.

10th Anniversary Exhibition!

What is photography?

Many people have different definitions to the term. Some find it an avenue for self-expression, some find it a way to capture memories. No matter how you interpret it, we are inviting you to send in your best artistic work to be shown off on Meridian Junior College’s 10th birthday!

In view of such a special occasion, the Alumni Society of MJC Photography is organising an exhibition to put up the best works from all members of the club. Also, the prints put on exhibition will be auctioned off to help cover the cost of the entire event. So, if you fancy having your photo hung up in somebody’s living room, please send it in to us!


1. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

i. Photographers may send in up to THREE entries.

ii. Entries may be shot either on film or digital camera but must be submitted as separate image files in RGB jpeg format with minimum 3000 pixels at the longest side of each image.

iii. Please include captions with each of your photos in a separate text file. Rename each entry to your name followed by entry number (e.g. EUNICECHAN_01).]

iv. Send in your entries to mjcphotog.alumni@gmail.com, with the heading “10th Anniversary Exhibition Entries”. In the email, please include your name and your batch (e.g. 06/07)

2. COPYRIGHT/INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES

i. Images submitted for this competition must be the ORIGINAL WORK of the participants who must also own the sole copyrights to the pictures.

ii. Copyright of photos put on auction belongs to the photographer. Buyer(s) will only have the rights to own the physical copy of the photograph.

2010 Annual Exhibition by Alumni

Hi guys, gals, Alumni and non-Alumni members!

I've opened a new discussion topic on the MJC PHOTOGRAPHY PAGE on Facebook regarding this year's annual exhibition by the Alumni. It doesn't matter whether you're alumni or not, because your photos get to be part of it!
