Flickr user fsumaria got a Nikon D700 for her birthday.
She had two, as a matter of fact.
Her husband got a cake that looked like the D700, and gave her the real camera as well. The cake was made by Granny Schmidt’s bakery in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. The outside was made of fondant and the inside is red velvet cake.
The red velvet was probably chosen to represent one of Nikon's brand colours, red. Though I thought that gold and yellow might be more "Nikonish", since we all know which brand has a red "rubber band" around their prestige lens.
