It's here.

Studio Days 2 is here.

This event needs no introduction (I lazy to introduce la, okay?) where photographers get to shoot whatever they want with the club's lights (YEAH, let's rock brothers Jinbei and Abei!) for three days. What's more, your dear dear dear Eunice and Junsen will be here to help you handle the lights so you can get the perfect shot.

WHEN?
The SD2 will last three days, 15,16 and 18th June 2009. (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9am - 5pm)

In each day, we will concentrate on three different genres:

Monday - Mini models / Still life
Tuesday - Portraiture
Wednesday - Break (<--- this is not abstract, it means I need to sleep....)
Thursday - Water Sculpture
Friday - Reserved/Buffer

AM I ELIGIBLE TO SIGN UP?
Basically as long as you is/are/was/were a MJC Photography Club member (who hasn't been barred from entering the clubroom), you're allowed to sign up.

HOW?
Thanks to technology, you may do your bookings through email.
Each person is entitled up to 2 hours per day, and you're allowed to pair/group up with your friends who are shooting with you. Just like consultation. Choose a slot that's convenient for you, and email me [macingrouch@gmail.com] the day and time, and I'll update who has booked when on the calendar below so all of you will be able to check for availability.

Just submit your name (first and last name please), year (J1/J2/Alumni), preferred time (e.g. 9am to 10am), date (e.g. 15th June) and contact number (I'll protect this from the perverts, unless otherwise stated :P).
To check whether your slots have been booked, click on the "Week" tab during the 3rd week of June labelled Studio Days 2.

Alternatively, you can also email me saying you would like to stay for the whole day (to shoot or observe), but what you shoot depends on what the photographers are shooting.

WHAT TO BRING?
You're required to bring your own props and/or models (and whatever you need). Junsen and I will not dress up and stand there to get shot by you guys, so please do plan what you want to shoot with care, and we'll help you with the lights.

For those who intend to do water sculptures, if you anticipate that there'll be a mess, please bring whatever is needed to protect our clubroom to keep it clean.

EQUIPMENT LEH?
This, please book with your lovely Quartermaster Samantha.

This is a good chance to learn the physics of studio photography, so don't miss this amazing opportunity. If we have overwhelming response, we'll open up Friday for shooting as well.

For any enquiries, you're welcome to email Eunice Chan at macingrouch@gmail.com.
